From the Chenango Semi-Weekly Telegraph
of Norwich, NY - Tuesday, April 19, 1881
A party of railroad officals including Supt. Childs of the Ontario and Western, went over the Auburn Branch on Thursday. What they propose doing with the abandoned line we are not informed, but judging from indications, we should not be surprised to see trains running on the branch here for many months.
