From the Cortland Standard of Cortland, NY Thursday, June 28, 1877
The management of the New York & Oswego Midland Railroad
announced that they have leased for the present season the fine excursion grounds
at North Bay, and have fitted them up with every desirable convenience for the
accommodation of all who may desire to visit that beautiful and attractive summer resort.
North Bay is situated at the extreme north end of Oneida Lake,
and the cooling breeze which always prevails, the extensive grounds, the pleasant
shades, the fine boating and fishing and easy accessibility by the Midland railroad,
together with many other natural advantages, render it one of the most desirable
picnic grounds in Central New York.
